Ipswich - Ipswich - Veronica "Bonnie" McParland Parisien, 71 of Ipswich, MA passed away peacefully surrounded by family on December 12th 2023 at Lahey Burlington after a brief illness. Bonnie was born at Cable Hospital in Ipswich, MA on August 1st 1952 to the late John and Winifred McParland.

Known as Bonnieto those that knew and loved her, she was a loyal, caring, and resilient woman; ever present to lend hand, be a sympathetic ear and offer support. She worked as a school bus driver transporting students all over Essex County and beyond for over 35 years. Bonnie loved her work and found great joy in watching her students grow over the years. Bonnie was a devoted mother, caring sister, and loving friend. A lover of nature, she could be found walking the shoreline of Crane Beach, snowshoeing the trails of Bradley Palmer and tending to her garden at her home.

She will be forever missed and survived by her two sons, Michael (Julia) V Parisien and Ben A Parisien, her grandson Michael A Parisien, her siblings James McParland, Daniel (Lisa) McParland, Peter (Debbie) McParland and Mary Ehlers as well as many nephews and nieces. Bonnie is predeceased by her late husband, Michael P Parisien and siblings, John and Paul McParland.

All are invited to attend visiting hours on Friday, December 15th from 6:00 – 8:00pm at Morris Funeral Home in Ipswich, MA at 45 North Main St. A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Summer of 2024.
