Beverly - Timothy Sean Movalli, 54, beloved boyfriend of Terry DeBlasie, passed away peacefully at his home on March 3rd, 2021.
Tim was born November 14th, 1966 in Gloucester, to John R. Movalli and the late Mary Jane (Davis) Movalli.
Tim graduated from Gloucester High School, class of 1985. He worked at Soundtrack in Boston for 25 years as an Accountant and Property Manager. He had a very close relationship with his colleagues who lovingly referred to him as "Mova."
Tim lit up the room wherever he went with his contagious smile, always the life of the party while being the first one to arrive and one of the last ones to leave. A talented perfectionist who was always offering his time, tools, and skills to help anyone who needed it. Most recently, Tim was instrumental in assisting the Brennan family in renovating their Maine camp. Nothing gave him as much pride as maintaining his meticulous lawn and over-populated koi pond.
He enjoyed playing softball with FMP and Hurd Builders in the Magnolia softball league. Timmy had many lifelong friends who referred to him as "MOJALLI." He would spend time with them playing golf and socializing. He especially enjoyed playing basketball in many adult leagues, including Middleton Playground, Gloucester & Beverly YMCA, and the Hamilton Wenham league. He was pretty famous for being fouled on every shot he took!
Tim is survived by his twin daughters, Jessica and Kristine Movalli; siblings, Paul and wife, Gayle (Lucido) Movalli, Stacey and husband Keith MacIntyre, Kim and husband, Bill Nugent, Dionne and husband, Scott Tucker, and Derek Movalli; and father, John Movalli and long-time companion Sharone Dale. He will be forever loved and cherished by his many nieces and nephews: Nick, Ashley, Alexis, Kevin, Keith, Megan, Catherine, Grace, Jake, Katie, Hunter, Ryan, Lauren, Jolene, and his great nephews and nieces Logan, Marley, Chloe and Finley. Tim had an abundance of family and friends, too many to name. Tim had an incredibly strong bond and deep love for his family and lifelong friends; to know Timmy is to love Timmy!
In addition to his mother, Tim was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Margaret and George Davis and paternal grandparents, Edith and Arthur Movalli, as well as his uncles Arthur Davis, Jimmy and Jr (Arthur) Movalli, cousins Judy (Movalli) Plankey and Josh Movalli.
His visiting hours will be held in the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington St. Gloucester, on Tuesday, March 9 from 3 to 6 p.m. Family and friends are cordially invited and are required to wear facial coverings and maintain social distancing. His graveside service will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Timothy Movalli's memory to: American Heart Association, 300 5th Ave. Suite 6, Waltham, MA 02451.
