Beverly - Beverly - Mr. Thomas Earl Reed, 95 of Beverly, loving and devoted husband of Eva (Trifona) Reed, passed away on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Care One at Essex Park in Beverly.

Born in Omar, WV, Tom was the son of the late Charles and Luella B. (McIntire) Reed. He was raised and educated in West Viriginia and was a graduate of Logan High School. Tom continued his education in Boston at Berklee School of Music and received his master's degree in Composition from Boston Conservatory.

Tom had a passion for music, especially Classical and was well known and respected in his professional career as the music teacher for Melrose Public Schools where he taught for over 30 years.

Devoted to his faith, Tom was a minister of Jehovah's Witnesses for the last 55-years of his life. The bible was his whole life and he loved to share the word and its teaching with others. Above all else, Tom was a wonderful husband and father who loved his family. He will be fondly remembered and greatly missed.

In addition to his loving wife, Eva with whom they shared 65 years of marriage, Thomas is survived by his son, Adam Reed of Beverly and 2 nieces and 2 nephews. In addition to his parents, Tom was predeceased by his brother, James E. Reed.

Thomas' service will be held at a later date in the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Peabody.
