Thomas Devlin, 65, Boxford, passed away peacefully on January 7, 2017 after a brief illness. Tom touched countless lives during his time including family, close friends, neighbors and co-workers. His kind, generous and gentle spirit will be deeply missed by all. For over 30 years, Tom worked at Partners Health helping patients with cancer treatment. He excelled at and loved his job and treasured his co-workers. He enjoyed doing chores around his home, visiting with family and relaxing with good music and movies.
Tom was predeceased by his mother, Margaret L. Devlin, his brother Patrick J. and sister, Janet M. Tom is survived by his partner of more than 40 years, Joseph Zaryski of Boxford; his father, Daniel J. of Boxford; his sisters, Eileen T. of North Andover and Jude A. of Madison, N.H.; his brother, Daniel P. of Swampscott; several cousins, nieces and nephews; and by his beloved cat, Tobey Ray of Boxford.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests any donations be made to the North Shore Cancer WALK c/o North Shore Medical Center, Development Office, 81 Highland Ave, Salem, MA 01970 in memory of Tom.
