Peabody - Stanley Guzowski 76, beloved husband of Joanne (Suleski) Guzowski, died Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at home following a courageous battle with cancer.

Born and raised in Peabody, he was the son of the late Boleslaw and Stella (Leszcynska) Guzowski. He received his education in the Peabody school system and graduated from Peabody High School, class of 1968.

Mr. Guzowski had been employed for forty-five years as a civil engineer for the City of Peabody until the time of his retirement.

A lifelong resident of the City of Peabody, Stanley enjoyed travelling with his wife, especially cruising and trips to Las Vegas. He was a loving husband, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.

In addition to his wife, with whom he shared forty-eight years of marriage, he is survived by a sister, Mary Roads and her husband, Edward of Peabody, a brother, Wiliam Guzowski and his wife, Claudette of Beverly, his brothers-in-law, William Suleski of Peabody, James Suleski of Peabody, Jeff Suleski of Haverhill and the late Steven Suleski and many nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Helen Piccinini, Edward, Michael and John Guzowski.

A visiting hour will be held at the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, Wednesday, July 1, 2026 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a service in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
