Sharon E. Bishop Obituary

Peabody - Sharon E. (Trodella) Bishop, 76, of Peabody, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, June 22, 2026, at Salem Hospital.

Born in Peabody on July 18, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Richland and Marie (Hilt) Trodella. Sharon was raised and educated in Peabody and was a graduate of Peabody High School, Class of 1967.

A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Sharon found her greatest joy in spending time with her family. She loved opening her home to friends and loved ones, especially during gatherings around her pool, where countless memories were made. Sharon was also a familiar face at her grandchildren's sporting events, cheering them on with pride and enthusiasm. More than anything, her children and grandchildren were the center of her life and her greatest source of happiness. She also cherished the companionship of her beloved dog, Bella.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, George W. Bishop of Peabody; her three daughters, Heather Flaherty of Newport Beach, California, Jill Brown and her husband, Daniel, of Summerville, South Carolina, and Kay Kulakowski and her husband, Mark Jr., of Danvers; her brother, Dana Trodella and his wife, Carol, of Reading; and her seven cherished grandchildren, Aidan, Liam, and Kiernan Flaherty, Macklin and Margaret Kulakowski, and Lily and Frederick Brown.

Funeral services were held privately. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Sharon's memory to Defeat Autism Now. Arrangements are under the direction of C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm Street, Danvers. To share a message of sympathy with the Bishop family, please visit www.LyonsFuneral.com.
