Revere - Revere - Rosalie J. Anderson, 82, recently of Revere, died on March 31, 2021, after a brief illness.

Rosalie was born in Boston, on November 25, 1938, the daughter of the late Charles R. and Mary Rose (McLarnon) Anderson. Raised in Lynn, she had resided in Revere for two years, formerly living in Beverly, Danvers, and South Boston. Rosalie graduated in 1956 from St. Mary's High School in Lynn, and was a graduate of Emmanuel College. She was a Sister of Notre Dame de Namur for 38 years and taught in Notre Dame's schools in Needham, Methuen, Marblehead, and at Notre Dame Academy in Tyngsboro. She was a secretary and administrator in Notre Dame's schools in the Boston area and in Rome, Italy, and was employed in the Jesuit Provincial Office in Boston for many years. Rosalie loved reading, attending/watching Mass, and loved to travel. Her fondest trip was with her siblings to Ireland in 1995. Rosalie was well-loved and was a friend to many. She was very proud of her Irish heritage and her Catholic faith.

Rosalie is survived by several nieces and nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her sisters, Rita M. (Anderson) Weeks and Patricia J. Anderson, by her brothers, Bernard C. Anderson, E. Paul Anderson, and Robert J. Anderson, as well as her step-mother, Mary E. (Jordan) Anderson and step-sister, E. Jean Besancon.

Friends and relatives are invited to attend Rosalie's visitation on Sunday, April 11, 2021 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, April 12th at 10:30 a.m. in St. Mary of the Annunciation Church, 24 Conant Street, Danvers. Burial will follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Lynn.
