Richard M. Boucher Obituary

Richard Martial Boucher, 70, of Salem, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2016, in the company of his loving family at Lahey Hospital, Burlington, following a brief illness. He was the husband of Sharon Boucher of Salem.

Born in Salem, Mass., Richard was the son of the late Martial and Lorraine (Lussier) Boucher. After graduating from Salem Technical School, Richard joined the U.S. Air Force, serving his country honorably for almost four years during the Vietnam War. Rich most recently worked for ten years, until his retirement at General Electric in Lynn as a machinist. Richard enjoyed painting and golfing and music of all types. He was a member of the VFW in Naples and Bonita Springs, Fla., and of Salem, Mass., and was also a member of the Beverly Alumni Drum and Bugle Corps. Above all, Richard enjoyed spending time with his family.

Along with his wife, Sharon (Kunh) Boucher of Salem, Richard is survived by his three daughters, Kari Boucher of Laurel, Mont., Janine Oteri of Naples, Fla., and Katie Boucher of Jacksonville, Fla.; three grandchildren, Kevin Schuttler, Nicholas Branum, and Enzo Oteri; a sister, Carol Foster of Byfield, Mass.; a brother, Ronald Boucher and his wife, Beth of Raymond, N.H.; and nieces and nephews.
