Rumney - R. Claudette (Nadeau) Manning 84, formerly of Peabody, beloved wife of the late Forrest S. Manning, died peacefully at home in Rumney, NH on Monday, January 5, 2026 with her loving family by her side.

Born and raised in Pittsfield, MA, she was the daughter of the late Rany and Christine (Soucy) Nadeau. She received her education in Pittsfield, MA and graduated from St. Joseph's High School in Pittsfield.

Mrs. Manning had been employed for many years as an administrative assistant for Personal Moving & Storage until the time of her retirement.

Claudette lived for her grandchildren and they were the center of her life. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her son, Michael Manning and his wife, Christine "Dolly" of Rumney, NH, a son-in-law, Brian Horrigan of Peabody, five grandchildren, Katrina Sauchuk and her husband, Michael, Kristopher Manning and his wife, Kim, Patrick Horrigan and his wife, Kristen, Christine Horrigan and her husband, Gabriel and Lindsay Abruzzese and her husband, Mike, seven great-grandchildren, Hunter and Hudson Sauchuk, Mason, Gavin and Wesley Manning, Vayda Horrigan and Camila Gonzalez, a sister, Rita C. Overbaugh of Peabody and many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Melinda Horrigan and sister of the late Rev. Roland Nadeau and the late Reno Nadeau.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Adelaide's Church, 708 Lowell St., Peabody, Monday, January 19, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Burial in the Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
