Danvers, MA - Priscilla (Karolides) Herrick passed to the spirit side of life on November 2, 2019, after a brief illness.

Born in Peabody, MA, on October 2, 1943, she was the daughter of the late John and Muriel (Herrick) Karolides.

Moving to Danvers in 1944 she graduated from Holten High School, class of 1961.

Priscilla was a member of The First Spiritualist Church of Salem, MA, and a Certified Medium through the National Spiritualist Association of Churches. She was a well known speaker and she served in many other Spiritualist churches in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.

She was employed by Microsemi in Beverly, MA, for close to 40 years. She loved her work and her work family. Her job was important to her and she worked up until the day she went into the hospital, less than two weeks before her passing.

She loved the many cats and dogs that lived in her home over the years, tending to her garden, and cooking elaborate holiday meals for family and friends.

Priscilla is survived by two daughters, Elisabeth "Lisa" (Lemp) Cheney and her husband, Patrick, of Beverly, MA, and Rebecca (Lemp) Ankiewicz and her husband, Kenneth, of Danvers MA. She leaves one grandchild, Dylan Matthias, he was the light of her life, and she greatly enjoyed attending the theatre with him. She is also survived by her cousin, David LeClair, of Danvers, MA; and former spouse and father of her two daughters, Herman Lemp, of Newbury, MA.

Priscilla will long be missed by a large extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins, in-laws and the many close friends that she embraced as part of her family. She is especially fond of the friendships she made with the local community theatre through her daughters and her involvement with Danvers High School Academy Theatre when they were young.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Frank Herrick, three brothers, Joseph, James, and William Karolides, and her sister, Sue Gehling.

Well done thy good and faithful servant.

A Memorial Service will be held at The First Spiritualist Church of Salem, 34 Warren Street, Salem, MA on Saturday, November 16, at 9:00am. All are invited.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to the charity of your choice.

I am so very sorry to hear of Priscilla's passing. I enjoyed many years of classes with Priscilla and many National Spiritualist Association Meetings throughout the United States. She will be missed by all that know her and, especially, all the members and friends at the Salem Church of Spiritualism. My deepest sympathy and blessings to her entire family and all her friends. Never had the chance to meet Priscilla in person. She became a friend on face book after I learned she was an ex spouse of my uncle Herman! Amazing to know she was a real trooper & worked until hospitalized. Following her on face book was an honor. RIP
