Peabody - Philip A. C. Bugler Jr., 71, of Peabody, passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, January 28, 2026. He was the beloved husband of Diane (Letarte) Bugler with whom he shared 43 years of marriage.

He was born in Salem on May 4, 1954, and was the cherished son of the late Philip A. C. Bugler Sr. and Marguerite (Brophy) Bugler.

In addition to his wife, Diane, Phil is survived by his son, Philip A. C. Bugler III and his wife Daybar of Peabody; his daughters, Katelin Nickel and her husband Ross of St. Louis, MO and Shannon Bugler and her partner Michael McDonald of Salem; his grandchildren, James and William Nickel, Philip A. C. Bugler IV, Mischa McDonald and Zuri Bugler; his brothers and their wives, Brian and Wendy Bugler of Danvers, Kevin and Jane Bugler of Marblehead, and Andy and Denise Bugler of Georgetown; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister, Beth Bugler Steedman and her husband David Steedman.

Family and friends are cordially invited to attend visiting hours at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St. Peabody on Tuesday, February 3, 2026 from 4 to 7 p.m. and again at 9 a.m. Wednesday morning before leaving in procession to St. John the Baptist Church in Peabody where a Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Burial will be private.
