Wenham - Patricia A. Mettling 72, of Wenham, MA, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026. She was born in Torrington, Connecticut to the late Elizabeth (Bryant) and John Herpich on August 1, 1953.

Pat was an accomplished floral designer in her early career when she worked for florists in Torrington, Brookline, Massachusetts and Framingham, MA. She also used her talents in interior design while working in a retail furniture environment designing vignettes in the store. Over the past number of years Pat was an avid reader of fiction novels and she developed a wonderful relationship with the Beverly Farms Bookstore, the owner of which helped keep Pat involved with special authors.

Patricia is survived by and was especially devoted to her husband Jim whom she was married to for over 50 years and their son Adam of Wenham. Pat is also survived by her brother David of Utah and her sister Pamela of Colorado. She was a devoted sister-in-law to Jeanne Newhall of Danvers, Massachusetts and Christine Bolen of Barto, Pennsylvania.
