Natalie Metivier Obituary

Peabody - Natalie Metivier, age 83, of Peabody passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2023. She was the beloved wife of the late Richard V. Metivier.

Born and raised in East Providence, RI to the late Joseph and Mary (Raposa Telles) Rubi, she graduated from East Providence High School and later moved to Peabody, MA, to raise her family. Natalie loved to travel, cook meals and entertain her family, and most of all spend quality time with her grandchildren.

Natalie was the devoted mother of Cynthia Ciman (John), Susan Nightingale (Alan), and Richard V. Metivier Jr. (Katherine); and cherished grandmother of Ryan Moorer, Matthew Moorer, Sarah Ciman, Emily Ciman, Andrew Metivier, Luke Metivier, and Logan Metivier; and her great-grandchildren, Avery Moorer and Cole Moorer; and was the cherished aunt of Kathleen Bickford (Robert) and their children Bobby and Regan Bickford. Natalie is also survived by her loving siblings Marilyn Perry (Robert) and Dolores Therrien.

Friends and family are invited to attend Natalie's visitation on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 from 9 to 11 a.m. at the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made in Natalie's memory to Care Dimensions, Suite B102, 75 Sylvan Street, Danvers, MA 01923, or www.caredimensions.org.
