Beverly - Natalie Marion Heigh born in New York, NY on Dec 16, 1926, the only daughter of Mildred Jordan Smith, passed away peacefully at home in Beverly, MA. on Jun 26, surrounded by her family. Raised in Augusta, ME by her maternal grandparents, she became a graduate of the University of Maine.

Predeceased by her husband, Francis W. Heigh and survived by her three children, Geoffrey Peter Heigh and partner Anne Marie Theokas, daughters Lisa Francis Heigh and Margo Natalie Heigh and her partner George (Chip) Sawtell.

An avid reader and sports fan. A lover of animals, especially her feline friends. A great cook, but she "didn't bake". A member and volunteer of St Peters Church in Beverly for decades, working side by side with her great friend and walking mate Madeline. She worked at the IRS as a tax auditor, successfully providing for her family.

She loved to travel, fine dine and laugh with family and friends, a socialite at heart. She was often seen out by many, with the biggest of smiles, with her two favorites, Chardonnay and Oysters. She would always say her favorite occupation was that of being a mother. Her children often heard one of her favorite retorts, "You'll be the first to know when it's a democracy". She passed away six months before her 100th birthday, coincidentally on her mother's birthday. Cheers mother, to a life well lived. You will be greatly missed.
