Wells - Nancy Joan (St. Pierre D'Amato) Rowe passed away June 30, 2026 at Gosnell Memorial Hospice House in Scarborough, ME. She was born December 9, 1935 in Salem, MA to Leo and Theresa (Constantino) St. Pierre.

Nancy graduated from Salem High School in 1953. While in high school, she worked at Sylvania. She then went on to work at Bertini's Restaurant and was a Secretary at St. Mary's Italian Church in Salem for over 20 years until her retirement. Following retirement, she moved to Ogunquit, ME with her husband, William Rowe, and later to Wells, ME.

Nancy was strong-willed, brave, and would give the shirt off her back to anyone in need. She was happy-go-lucky and considered herself an sun worshiper because of her love for the beach. She enjoyed snowmobiling, reading, and knitting, but most of all loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Theresa St. Pierre; daughter, Cynthia Jette; sister, Dolores Painchaud; grandson, Michael Jette; good friend, Frank Colantoni; and many extended family members. She is survived by her husband, William Rowe; son, David D'Amato and his husband, Steven Penella; daughter, Teresa Wright; son, Dino D'Amato; son, Richard D'Amato; brother, Leo St. Pierre; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many extended family members.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Nancy's name to Gosnell Memorial Hospice House, Andwell Health Partners at www.andwell.org for the loving care the staff showed both Nancy and her family during her final days.

Private family services will be held.
