North Andover - Mr. Edward M. Knowlton, a resident of North Andover and St. James City, Florida and beloved husband of Judith A. (Latneau) Knowlton, passed away at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill on Wednesday morning, May 9, 2018. He was 80 years old.

Born in Manhattan, New York, on November 13, 1937, he was the beloved son of the late Philip and Rose (Herrin) Knowlton. Mr. Knowlton was a Cabinet Maker and accomplished woodworker. He made many pieces of furniture for his family and friends. In his spare time, Edward enjoyed gardening and canning his vegetables. He was a recent winner at the Topsfield Fair for his Bread & Butter Pickles. Edward also loved to go to the beach and birdwatching. He will be dearly missed.

Besides his beloved wife, Judy, he is survived by his children; Elise M. Pelrine of North Andover, Michelle R. Day of Methuen, James J., Jr. and his wife Sherri Pelrine of Doral, Fla. and Christina J. Pelrine of North Andover, grandchildren, Ivy Summers, Erin Pelrine and Aiden DelMonico, sister; Patricia and her husband, George Minasian of North Andover, nieces and nephews, Barbara Ingam, Rosemary and her husband, Steve Young and David, John and George Minasian.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Michael Church, 198 Main Street, North Andover on Monday, May 14, 2018, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Visitation will be held in the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover on Monday, prior to the Mass, from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Interment will be be held in the Oakdale Cemetery in Middleton.
