Peabody - Mildred (Staffieri) Wasileski 76, beloved wife of Leonard Wasileski, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, December 27, 2025 with her husband by her side.
Born and raised in Everett, she was the daughter of the late Francisco and Mary (Hall) Staffieri. She received her education in the Everett school system and was a graduate of Everett High School, class of 1967.
Mrs. Wasileski had been employed for twenty-two years as an administrator in the Cardiac office at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston until the time of her retirement in 2014.
A resident of Peabody for over forty years, she was a member of the former St. Theresa's Drill Team in Everett. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all who knew her.
In addition to her husband with whom she shared fifty-six years of marriage, Mildred was the devoted mother of Christine Gulla and her husband, William and Sharon DiLello, cherished grandmother of Nicolas, Samantha, Michael Gulla and Angelina and Gianna DiLello, dear sister of Josephine Staffieri and Mary Abrams and her husband, Steve, sister-in-law of Karen and Michael Bontempo and Lois and John Passemato and many loving nieces and nephews.
Her funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Adelaide's Church, 708 Lowell St., Peabody, Monday, January 5, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Conway Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Burial at Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.
