Beverly - Beloved son of the late Roger R and Dorothy L Millett. Cherished brother of Richard Millett, Christine Heffernan (James), Mark Millett and his wife Donna and Nancy Lufkin (Kenneth). Adored uncle of Michelle MacLean, Sarah McPartland, Jimmy and Jody Heffernan, Trevor Millett and Alex and Adam Lufkin. Great uncle to Hannah, Rachel, Megan and Emma McPartland and Duncan "Mac" MacLean. Also survived by his Uncle Tom and Aunt Candy and many cousins who were loved by him throughout the years.

To those who knew and loved him, Michael will likely be most remembered for his remarkably quick wit. Anyone seated near him at a cook-out, holiday or family gathering, can attest to his mischievous but good-natured sense of humor. More than anything else, Mike knew how to make people laugh and find a joke in pretty much anything.

Beyond his easy going personality, Michael was also known for his kind and caring heart. After the untimely death of his father, Michael stepped in to help raise his younger brother Mark and sister, Nancy.

Mike loved fishing and golfing, spending many quiet days in his kayak at nearby Shoe Pond or the Bass River, not far from his home, and on the golf course with his cousins and friends. He also loved playing softball, playing on multiple teams with his brothers over many years. His infectious love of reading (Steven King books, MAD magazine) was passed along to his siblings and many of his younger relatives.

The family of Michael Millett wishes to thank the staff at the MGB Cancer Center in Danvers for the outstanding and compassionate care he received throughout his long battle with cancer.

A Celebration of Life for both Michael and his mother Dorothy will be held at the Franco American Club, 44 Park St, Beverly on January 3, 2026 from 1 to 5 p.m. Burial is private.
