PITTSBURG, KS - Mary L. Orrison of Hutchinson, Kan., passed away on Friday, February 23, 2018, at the Medicalodges Nursing Home in Pittsburg Kan. She was born on March 15, 1936, in Iuka, Ill., to Charles and Vada (Bosworth) Green. Mary she grew up in the home of her mother and beloved step-father, Harry Gardner, and attended Salem schools.
She married Jerry L. Orrison Sr. on July 10, 1954, in Mt. Vernon, Ill. Left to honor her love and memory are her children, Jerry (Kathy) Orrison of Bristol, Tenn., Margery Snyder of Pittsburg, Kan., Lisa VanWey of Hutchinson, Kan., Kathy (Galen) Vedder of Plevna, Kan., James (Lisa) Orrison of Hutchinson, Kan., John (Amy) Orrison of Hutchinson, Kan.; 23 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her husband; her daughter, Vada Mansker; her parents; and her sisters, Irma Nichols, Ruth Warren, and Charlene Tarter.
Mary requested no formal service and her family will honor her request.
