Haverhill - Mark J. Lewis, 65, of Haverhill, MA passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2026. He was the husband of Ruby Lewis of Haverhill, MA and was born in Beverly, MA to James and the late Ethel Lewis on November 2, 1960.
Mark was a graduate of Beverly High School, Claude H Patten Vocational School Class of 1978. After high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army. He finished his tour at Fort Devens in Massachusetts. Mark was proud to be a U.S Veteran and made lifelong friends during his enlistment. Mark enjoyed organizing family events, and was an avid dog lover. He enjoyed traveling with his wife and close friends. He traveled to China many times in the course of his work and developed many friends there.
In addition to his wife and father, Mark is survived by two brothers; Barry Lewis and wife Maura, and Scott Lewis and wife, Ann Marie, two nieces; Meagan Eldridge and husband, Connor, and Nicole Lewis, 1 nephew; Matthew Lewis, one great-niece, Ryan Eldridge, 1 great-nephew; Cayden Eldridge and many cousins. He was predeceased by his son, Mark Lewis Jr.
There will be a celebration of life scheduled at a later date.In lieu of flowers, donations in his honor can be made to MSPCA Northeast Animal Shelter, Salem, MA or Beverly Vietnam Veterans, P.O. Box 661, Beverly, MA 01915.
