Marilyn M Fecteau Obituary

Peabody - Peabody - It is with great sadness here on earth but great joy in the everlasting we announce the passing of our loving mother Marilyn Fecteau. Devoted mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, known for her warm spirit and dedication to her Catholic faith.

Shy of her 98th birthday, Marilyn was born in Nashua NH to Alice and John Vagge, second oldest of six children. Growing up in Peabody, she was head drum majorette for Peabody High always leading the band and celebrating victory.

She later went on to work as a bookkeeper for a personal finance company in Salem.

She met the love of her life Raymond Eli, were married and had two daughters.

Her compassion for others was evident in all aspects of her life. She volunteered her time to be on the board of the Leo Guild, executive board of Catholic charities and the guild of the infant Savor. She found herself later becoming a teacher aide for DSL children who were the recipients of Her generosity of time and care.

.

She went on to help her Mother's thriving successful bridal business Alice Vagge gowns. Her love of history brought my father and mother to travel and enjoy all that Europe had to offer.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her loving husband Raymond Eli Fecteau. She leaves her daughter Donnarae Rubin and her husband Robert and daughter Dianne Mannion and her husband Thomas.

Also surviving are her adoring grandchildren Abigail Rubin Dembitzer and Daniel Rubin.

Blessed with joy are her great grandchildren, Alice and Benjamin Dembitzer and Charles and Miles Rubin.

My mother will be deeply missed but her spirit will forever live on in the hearts of all who loved her. Farewell "La Petite."
