Peabody - Maria Natalia (Correia) Pimenta passed away peacefully on June 14, 2026, at the age of 94. Born on August 2, 1931 in Aveiro, Portugal, she has resided in Gloucester and Peabody.

Maria was a talented seamstress who was completely self-taught. She had a warm smile, quiet strength and genuine kindness. Always thoughtful in remembering to send a card for our birthdays or other special occasions. She traveled and participated at the Portuguese American War Veterans Club and the Senior Center in Peabody.

She was the loving wife of the late Antonio Pimenta for 26 years and the late Everardo Correia. Maria is survived by two step-daughters, Madeline Pimenta and Lisa LaForge, two step-sons, Joseph Pimenta and Michael Pimenta, a brother, George Carrancho, a dear friend, Sussema Nadeau and many loving grandchildren, family and friends. She is pre-deceased by her two step-sons, David Pimenta and Daniel Pimenta and family siblings.

Visiting hours will be held at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral, 82 Lynn Street, Peabody on Saturday June 27, 2026, from 10 to 11 a.m. followed by a service in the funeral home at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial at St. Mary's Cemetery, Salem. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in her honor to the American Heart Association, 300 5th Ave, Waltham, MA. 02451.
