Derry - Margaret V. Larkin, 74, of Derry, NH, died Tuesday April 20, 2021 in the Catholic Medical Center in Manchester, NH.
She was born in Malden, MA on February 19, 1947, a daughter of the late Edward and Margaret (Duffy) McKenna. Mrs. Larkin had been a resident of Derry since 2004, formerly living in Billerica, Mass. and Salem, Mass. for many years. She had been employed for many years as an Executive Assistant for Salem Hospital in Salem, Mass. Mrs. Larkin enjoyed sewing, quilting, and reading.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph Larkin of Derry; two sons, Brian Sherry and his wife, Megumi Fujita of Great Falls, Va., and Benjamin Sherry of Fall River; her stepson, James Larkin of Derry; her stepdaughter, Julia Toronto of Hampstead, NH; two grandchildren, Kenshin Sherry and Kojiro Sherry; two sisters, Helen Payne of Northampton, and Carol Mestas of California, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Monday, April 26th from 9 - 10:30 a.m. in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, April 26th at 11 a.m. in St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 26 Crystal Avenue, Derry. Due to State of NH guidelines, all guests are required to wear masks, minimize contact and maintain social distancing. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Lung Association of NH, 1661 Worcester Rd., Suite 301, Framingham, MA 01701.
