Beverly - Mae E. Bushey, 89 of Beverly, died on Thursday, April 2, 2026. Born in Beverly, she was the daughter of the late Leonard and Jeanette (Dube) Cormier. She was the beloved wife of the late George O. Bushey.

Mae was a treasured wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She was a matriarch who held a deep appreciation for her family; approached life with a tireless work ethic; and was guided by a desire to leave behind a legacy of integrity and care.

Mae is survived by her son, Gary W. Bushey and his wife Mary, and her daughter Cynthia R. Venturo and her husband Vincent, all of Beverly, and her granddaughter Katie M. Novak and her husband, Brett of Danville, NH.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her sons, Michael and Steven Bushey.

Her funeral service will be held at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly, on Friday, April 10th, at 12pm. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours prior to the service from 11am to 12pm. Burial will be at St. Mary Cemetery, Beverly. Contributions may be made in Mae's memory to the Alzheimer's Association.
