HOLLIS, NH - Lauraine M. (Perry) Dion, 88, of Hollis, N.H., formerly of Salem, Mass., died surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, March 15, 2018, at the Merrimack Hospice House in Merrimack, N.H.

She was married to the late Robert R. Dion, who died on July 4, 2010.

Born in Salem, Mass., she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret Perry. She graduated from Salem High School with the Class of 1947.

Lauraine was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren

She was a communicant of the Immaculate Conception Church of Nashua, N.H.

Lauraine was an active member of the Salem High School Alumni Association and participated in the planning of many class reunions.

She is survived by her son, Robert J. and his wife, Katie Dion of Dunstable; daughters, Linda Williams of Hollis, N.H., and Cynthia Dion-Darcy-Benton and her husband, Timothy Benton of Dandridge, Tenn.; sisters, Simone Roy of Peabody, Mass., and Vivian and her husband, Peter Mandragouras of North Reading; grandchildren, Gregory Dion and Caleigh Dion; and many nieces and nephews.

She was the mother-in-law of the late John Darcy and the sister of Francis Perry and Germaine Lavoie.

Lauraine's family would like to thank the staff at Visiting Angels of Nashua, N.H., for their care and support for Lauraine and her family.

Her visitation will be Saturday from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Dolan Funeral Home, 106 Middlesex St., Chelmsford, MA 01863, followed by a Funeral Mass at 12:30 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church, 216 East Dunstable Road, Nashua, NH. A private burial will be at a later date in St. Louis Cemetery, Nashua, N.H. Memorials may be made in her name to the Joslin Diabetes Center, 1 Joslin Place, Boston, MA 02115.
