Danvers - Kevin J. Kelly, 94, of Danvers, passed away on March 6, 2025. He was the beloved husband of Sheila Moulton-Kelly, with whom he would have shared 29 years of marriage on March 15th and the husband of the late Marie (Luciano) Kelly.

Born in Detroit, Michigan on July 1, 1930, he was the son of the late William and Bridget (Coady) Kelly. Kevin was raised and educated in Newfoundland, Canada, and graduated from St. Bonaventure High School in St. John, Newfoundland. He received his bachelor's degree from Bentley College and his master's degree from Boston College.

Kevin proudly served our country with the United States Navy during the Korean War and was honorably discharged. He had a long and successful career as an accountant. Kevin had a special gift for making everyone laugh, often with a joke that only he could pull off. His grandkids were his biggest fans and co-stars, always excited for his next funny story. Anyone lucky enough to know Kevin looked forward to his adventures and tales, which always left a smile on the faces of anyone fortunate to hear them.

He is survived by his children, Kathleen Brennan of Hamilton, Paula Cahill and her husband Stephen of Danvers, Brian Kelly of Chelsea and William Kelly and significant other, Eileen Dexter of Peabody, nine grandchildren, Daniel, Julie, Krista, Stephen, Kevin, Meghan, Genevieve, Michelle and Elizabeth, several great grandchildren, four sisters, Sheila Gushua, Helen Kieley, Ann O'Rouke and Patricia Cogswell, all of Canada and his extended family, Timothy Moulton and his wife, Sally of Danvers, Kristin Connor and her husband Mark of Peabody, Jennifer Watson and her husband David of Danvers and their children, Lauren, Anna, Aiden, William, Myles, Ian, Nora, Eve and Olivia. He was predeceased by his sister Mary Pearson and son-in-law Edward Brennan.

His Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11AM on Thursday, March 13, 2025 in Saint Richard Church, 90 Forest St., Danvers. Burial will follow in Annunciation Cemetery, Danvers. Visiting hours are from 4-7PM on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at C.R. Lyons & Sons, Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers.
