Salem - Kathleen E. Harrington passed away on February 15th after a brief illness at the age of 78. Born in Salem, MA to the late Joseph and Mary Harrington, she is survived by siblings Eila Zay, David and Peg Harrington as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. She was also recently predeceased by her sister, Maureen "Mo" Faulstich.

A graduate of St. James High School, Kathy also studied ceramics and pottery at MassArt. She spent most of her professional career in the hospitality industry managing catering and sales, both in California and Hawaii before returning home to the North Shore in 2014 to be closer to the family.

Kathy was one of the kindest, most caring and generous souls to have ever graced this life. She will be fondly remembered and sorely missed.
