Judith Ann Terry Obituary

Rowley - Judith Ann Terry, 92, went to be with the Lord on January 27, 2026. She passed peacefully in the early morning hours. Mom was a mother, a mother-in-law, a sister, a daughter, an aunt, a grandmother, a great grandmother and friend to many. She will be missed by all.


Mom was born and raised in the Centerville area of Beverly. Mom graduated from Beverly High School and from the Beverly Hospital School of Nursing. She worked at Beverly Hospital as a Registered Nurse and later as a private duty nurse. Mom married William F. Terry, Jr and enjoyed 67 years of marriage with him. Together they built a home in Centerville where they raised a family. Mom was a great cook and a caretaker to many, especially those who may have been less fortunate. Mom loved animals and had adopted several dogs and cats. She had a passion for her houseplants and collecting rocks for her back yard. Mom enjoyed many trips to Plum Island, often returning home with a load of beach plums with which she would make jam.


Mom was the fourth daughter of Charles A. Patch and Alice B. (Edwards) Patch. Mom was predeceased by her Husband Bill. Judy and Bill had three children who are all married: William F. Terry, III married to Teresa M. Terry, of Rowley, MA, Rebecca S. Terry/Gilbert and her Husband Robert N. Gilbert of Hudson, FL, and Charles P. Terry married to Lesley Brooks of Peterborough, NH. Mom has three grandchildren: Shayla M. Terry of Hudson, FL, William F. Terry, IV, married to Kensi B. Terry of Bedford, IN, and Joshua I. Terry of Rowley, MA, as well a great granddaughter Novalee B. Terry and a great grandson William F. (Quin) Terry, V, both of Bedford, IN.

There will be a Celebration of Life at 11 AM on May 30th, at the Byfield Parish Church, 132 Jackman St Georgetown, MA.
