Danvers - Joyce H. (Wilt) Lamarre, 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on February 7, 2025. She was the wife of the late Laurent N. Lamarre.
Born in Peabody on May 26, 1940, she was the daughter of the late William Wilt and the late Virginia (Goodale) (Wilt) Pariseau and stepdaughter of the late George Pariseau. Joyce had been a fixture in the St. John's Prep cafeteria and retired after 20 years. She was a member of the Polish Club in Danvers. She was an avid bingo player, often playing five days a week. Joyce also enjoyed visits to the casinos and playing the slot machines.
She is survived by five children, Debra Hines and her husband Jeffrey of Bonita Springs, FL, Larry Lamarre and his wife Janice of Danvers, Laura Sapka and her husband Michael of Naples, FL, Kimberly Lamarre of Danvers, Teresa Monroe and her husband, Wallace of Danvers, her sister, Sandra Greene of Florida; 10 grandchildren, Derek and Darryl Hines, Jessica Daley, Heather Lamarre, Spencer and Caitlyn Sapka, Ryan Lamarre, Jillian McCarthy and Michael and Nikki Monroe and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her granddaughter Tiffany Hines and siblings, Gary Wilt, Marsha Coleman and Donna Delp.
