San Mateo - San Mateo - Josuha Adam Marcus, age 47 of San Mateo, CA., died in Sacramento, Ca, of a heart attack on June 21, 2025.
He was born in Malden Ma on February 12, 1978, to Deborah J. Bystrom formally Marcus, and Stephen E. Marcus.
Joshua lived in Salem, MA with his mother Deborah J. Bystrom and Stepfather David Bystrom and attended school in Salem.
After school Joshua followed his dreams and traveled to California to pursue a career in stand-up comedy. In the years since arriving in California he made many friends and worked in the Hospitality and
Entertainment industry.
In San Mateo, Joshua found the love of his life, his fiancée Jennifer Robinson, and her two children, Tristen and Zachary, whom he loved dearly.
Joshua is survived by Stephen E. Marcus, Deborah J. Bystrom and David E. Bystrom, and his bothers, Douglas, Jason, and Gregory Marcus,
and several nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life and Remembrances will be held on July 2nd at Sneider & Sullivan & O'Connell's Funeral Home, 977 S. El Camino Real, San Mateo, Ca. at 10 a.m.
