Lynn - John Cusack of Lynn, Mass., passed away peacefully at home on February 10, 2021, at the age of 84. He was beloved by everyone who knew him, especially his family and close friends. He was a devoted father to Mary O'Connor, Chris Cusack, Kevin Cusack, and the late Sean Cusack. He was the cherished grandfather of Payton O'Connor, Sean Cusack, Francis Cusack, Kaylee Cusack, and Tyler Cusack. John was also the treasured brother of Arthur Cusack and a loving husband to his late wife Anne Marie Cusack.

John grew up in Tipperary, Ireland. He was the youngest of nine children. He was always a hard worker-he spent many years as an oil burner technician at Moran Fuel Co. and much of his time off helping others. John was a man of great faith and always expressed the sentiment "God is good." He loved to spend time outside, whether it be helping his friends with yard-work, caring for his tomato garden, or playing with his dogs. He was happiest when spending time with his beloved family. He was also a very lively and musical person. John was often singing and loved to play his harmonica and accordion. He would light up every space that he entered, and time with him was always treasured by his family and friends. He will be deeply missed.

A wake will be held for John on Monday, February 15, 2021, from 4 to 8 p.m., at Cuffe McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn, MA 01904. A funeral service for John will be held on Tuesday, February 16, 2021. at 11 a.m. at St. Pius Church, 215 Maple Street, Lynn, MA 01904 with internment at St. Joseph Cemetery, 134 Broadway, Lynn, MA 10904.
