Wolfeboro - John D. Brennan III, of Wolfeboro, New Hampshire, passed away on October 6, 2024, at the age of 77. He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John D. and Madelyn (Dullea) Brennan II. He was born in Salem, MA on November 22, 1946.
John went to St. James School in Salem, MA, then attended Bishop Fenwich in Peabody, MA as well as Salem State University in Salem, MA. He gained his certification through the New Hampshire Department of Education in Special Education. For many years he was a teacher at Salem, MA and NH Schools. He was also known for being an Entrepreneur and a Real Estate Broker.
John lived in many places during his life. Those places he enjoyed were Salem, MA, Danvers, MA, Bridgewater, NH, Wolfeboro, NH, Captiva Island, FL, and Delray Beach, FL.
John and his wife Lois built their home on Newfound Lake, NH where they enjoyed the beauty the area provided. They enjoyed many years of lake life and winter sports in the White Mountains. Florida was a winter vacation destination each year for the past several years.
John knew how to live and love and was always ready for a new challenge. He will forever be carried in the hearts of those of us who were fortunate enough to have him in our lives.
John is survived by his loving wife Lois (O' Beirne); their son John D. Brennan IV and his wife Heather as well as their wonderful grandchildren. John had a large loving family of cousins, in-laws, friends and neighbors.
A Funeral Mass in John's honor will be held on October 16, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Katharine Drexel Church, 40 Hidden Springs Road, Alton, NH. All are welcome to attend.
