Nottingham - Joan L. (Scranton) Mason, of Hampton, NH passed away December 19, 2022 with her three children and daughter in-law by her side.

Born Sept 1, 1933 in Lynn, MA, Daughter of Ellsworth and Louise (Patten) Scranton.

Joan graduated from Lynn English high school.

In her younger years she worked for Lynn gas and electric. Later in life she worked for R.C. Mason movers in Peabody, MA, owned by her husband Warren. They lived in Middleton MA for 37 years before moving to NH

She belonged to the cy-tenny club and the J.C.-ettes woman's club.

She liked playing bingo, knitting, crocheting and playing cards.

Joan was predeceased by her husband, Warren C. Mason, who passed away in 1998, her grandson, Adam Robert Perry, her mother, Louise Scranton, father Ellsworth Scranton, and sister, Shirley Bergman-Anderson.

She is survived by her three children, Rick Mason and his wife, Patricia (Lindh); daughters, Cindy Mason-Perry-Martino-Triana, Robin (Mason) Mealey and her husband, Edward; grandchildren, Holly (Mason) Batchelder, Jeffrey Mason, Eric Perry, Aaron Perry and Edward W. Mealey; seven great grandchildren, Katlyn Batchelder, Carter Costello Perry, Adeline Perry, Isla, Finley and Covey Mason, Edward D. Mealey.

By Joan's request, services will be private, attended by her immediate family.
