Danvers - Joan Roberts Emerson, 88, died Saturday, June 17, 2023. Born in Middleton on March 16, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Elwood and Dora (Munn) Roberts and sister of the late Scott Roberts. She lived most of her life in Middleton and graduated from Fisher Junior College in 1955. She worked and retired from Masconomet High School. An avid quilter, she enjoyed gardening, traveling and her family.
She is survived by her sons Craig Powers, his wife Marcia; Doug Powers, his wife Lynn; a daughter Kris (Emerson) Amero, her husband John; nephew Elwood Roberts, his wife Babette; niece Kaaren Roberts Kidd, her husband John; 6 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and extended family.
