Jeffrey P. Wilkins

Epping, NH - Jeffrey Paul Wilkins, 61, died April 9, 2019, at his home in Epping, N.H. after a brief illness. He was born October 9, 1957, in Chelsea, Mass., son of the late Herbert Lowell Wilkins and Bernice (Lindstrom) O'Brien.
Jeff grew up and lived most of his life in Beverly, Mass. He graduated from the Claude H Patten Vocational High School where he studied cabinet making. Jeff was an artist and it showed in his woodworking. In his earlier years, he was a subcontracted carpenter. Later, he had his own business, named Wilks Wood, but he was best known for his finish carpentry, hand carved furniture and cabinet making. He had resided in Epping for the past 15 years.
Jeff also enjoyed oil painting and anything outdoors including his most favorite activities hiking, camping, mountain biking and canoeing.
He was a member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Lodge# 1309 in Beverly.
Jeff is survived by his longtime companion, Paula Lord, his siblings and their spouses, Mark and Tracy Wilkins, Eric and Carla Wilkins, Tom and Cheryl Wilkins, Denise and Chris Halloran, three nieces, Kaleigh Halloran, Olivia Halloran, Hannah Wilkins, three nephews, Derek Wilkins, Joshua Wilkins, and Tyler Wilkins.
Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Brewitt Funeral Home, 9 Pleasant St., Epping, NH.
A reception will follow the calling hours at Jeff's home for friends and family.
