Salem - Salem - Janice Marie (Frawley) Hanley, 64, of Salem, passed away Monday, May 5, 2025 in Lahey Hospital, Burlington. She was the wife of James A. Hanley of Salem.

Born in Lynn, MA, Janice was the daughter of the late Robert and Jean (Bragan) Frawley. After graduating from St. Mary's High School in Lynn in 1978, Jan attended Florida International University and went on to graduate from Fisher Junior College having studied Fashion Design.

Along with her husband James A. Hanley of Salem, Janice is survived by her children, Jarrett A. Hanley and his partner Kenny of Waltham, MA, Joel A. Hanley and his wife Kimmie of Salem, and Jillian T. Hodson and her husband Anthony of Methuen; her granddaughter Victoria Theresa, and her soon to arrive granddaughter Viviana who is due later this May; her siblings, Melinda Cote and her husband Gregg, James R. Frawley and his wife Virginia, and Paula Frawley; and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours in the Berube & Sons Funeral Home 191 Lafayette St Salem, MA on Saturday, May 10, 2025 from 2-6 p.m. A prayer service will be held at 2 p.m. Committal in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn will take place privately at a later date.
