Danvers - Danvers - Janet Gail Shimmin, 67, died unexpectedly from natural causes at her home on October 29, 2025.

Born on March 9, 1958, she was the daughter of the late Harry S. Shimmin, Jr. and Marjorie Wood Shimmin.

Janet graduated from Hope College, Holland MI in 1980 and worked for many years in the printing business for Barney Rabin and more recently Alden Hauk Inc. Prior to Covid she was an active participant with The Concert Singers for many years. She proudly designed and printed the concert programs and flyers which were beautifully done. In her younger years, she loved riding horses, playing the clarinet, architecture, painting, was an avid reader and fond of her cats.

Janet was predeceased by her brother Peter Shimmin. She is survived by her beloved aunts, E. Lois Pacheco of Frederick, MD and Linda S. Reed and Uncle Carl D. Reed of Frederick, MD, many cousins and a close friend, Betsy Woods.
