Salem - Jane K. (Zielinski) Koza, 97, of Beverly, formerly of Salem, died Tuesday morning, February 4, 2025 at home. She was the beloved wife of Stanley F. Koza, who died in 1994.Born in Salem on February 24, 1927, she was the daughter of John and Josephine (Draminska) Zielinski. She was raised and educated in Salem and was a 1944 graduate of Salem High School.

Jane lived in Salem for seventy-seven years before moving to Beverly.

She was a lifelong, active parishioner of Saint John the Baptist Polish Church in Salem. She was also a member of the Salem Garden Club for more than fifty years, an association she loved. She was very interested in nature, the environment, and music.

She leaves two sons, John and his wife Janet of Beverly, and David and his wife Amy of New York City, and her grandchildren, Stephen, Anne, Joseph, and Thomas. She also leaves her nephews, Michael and his wife Fran and their daughter Rosa, Steven and his wife Nelda, her niece, Ellen and her husband Peter, and her sister-in-law, Dolores Zielinski.

She was predeceased by her brother, Edward Zielinski.

Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 10:00A.M. in the Shrine of Divine Mercy, 30 Saint Peter St., Salem. Burial will follow in Saint Mary's Cemetery, North St., Salem. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are Friday from 5:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. in C.R. Lyons & Sons Funeral Directors, 28 Elm St., Danvers Square. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jane's memory may be made to the Saint John Paul II Shrine of Divine Mercy, 30 Saint Peter St., Salem, MA 01970.
