North Andover - Jacqueline "Jackie" A. Gagnon, 73, of N. Andover, formerly of Salem, Swampscott, and Marblehead, died December 31 at the Sutton Hill Nursing Home in North Andover. Born in Salem, she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Lillian (Marquis) Gagnon.
She was raised and educated in Salem a graduate of St. Joseph's High School, Salem, and she continued her education graduating from Salem State College. Jackie worked for the Chelsea School system for 40 years having retired in 2008. She was also a member of the Massachusetts Teachers Union. The love of her life was her dog Leo whom she was immensely proud of.
Jackie is survived by her sister Elaine Quinlan of Peabody; her niece Carolyn A. Nadworny and her husband Richard C. Jr. of Boxford; her nephew Michael P. Quinlan of Middleton; and her two great-nephews Patrick Q. and Matthew Q. Nadworny, both of Boxford.
We would like to thank the staff at Sutton Hill Nursing Home in North Andover and Seasons of Danvers for the care they showed Jackie during her final years.
