Danvers - Jacqueline L. "Robbie" (Oliver) Bulpett, 81, of Danvers, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, Jan. 11, 2020. She was one of two children born to the late Robert and Louise (Gesualdo) Oliver. Robbie will always be remembered by her devoted brother George of California; her beloved children Stefanie Rogal and her husband James of Rowley, Melissa Wasserman and her husband Joel of Beverly, Jonathan Bulpett and his wife Stephanie of Beverly; her treasured grandchildren, Liz, Casey, Rachel, Sondra, Michaela, Jonathan Jr. and Jacob; her great-grandchildren Olivia, Camden and Aurora; her many nieces and nephews; and her cat Cosmo.

Robbie was born May 8, 1938, in Lynn, Mass. She graduated from Lynn English High School and enlisted in the U.S. Navy on her 18th birthday. Following her military service she had a long career as a medical transcriptionist, working for Beverly Hospital and multiple physicians on the North Shore. She was very proud of the fact that she competed in two typing competitions and won both easily, typing 85 words a minute.

She was devoted to her family and friends and was fondly known by her children's friends as "Mrs. B." She had a passion and gift for cooking and always made more than enough to share. She was an avid reader, loved to travel, enjoyed exercise classes at the Danvers Senior Center, knitting and spending time with her friends. Until the end, she was incredibly proud of her ability to complete the daily newspaper puzzles. While her children were young she devoted many hours as a Brownie Leader, PTO President and softball coach. After retirement she spent countless hours with her grandchildren baking cookies, making crafts, going to the movies and attending their sporting events and theater productions.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 18, at 4 p.m., at the Campbell Funeral Home, 525 Cabot Street, Beverly. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project. Information, directions, condolences at www.campbellfuneral.com.
