Danvers - Helen J. (Hyde) Cutter, 92, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, following a brief illness. She was the loving wife of the late Gordon A. Cutter.
Helen was born on August 14, 1932, the daughter of the late John and Helen (O'Sullivan) Hyde and sister of the late Kathleen Gibson. Raised and educated in Cambridge, she had a long career as an underwriter with John Hancock Insurance in Boston, where she met Gordon, the love of her life with whom she shared 26 years of marriage.
Helen had been a communicant of Saint Mary of the Annunciation Church and enjoyed traveling. In addition to her family, Helen was greatly loved by her neighbors, Ethel Piercey, Ron Piercey, and the late Brian Piercey with whom she shared many years of friendship. She will be greatly missed.
A graveside service will be held for Helen at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, in Walnut Grove Cemetery, 30 Sylvan St., Danvers. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Pl, Memphis, TN, 38105 or online at www.stjude.org.
