Scottsdale - Frank Nicolosi, 81, of Scottsdale, AZ, passed away peacefully on February 24, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Sicily, Italy, Frank immigrated to the U.S. at 18 and pursued his education at Middlebury College, where he graduated with honors in language studies, later earning a Master's from Harvard. A gifted linguist fluent in Italian, Spanish, French, and English, he dedicated his career to teaching modern languages, inspiring generations of students.

Frank was predeceased by his beloved wife, Barbara, his parents, and his siblings. He is survived by his children Francesco, Jason, and David of Scottsdale, AZ, and Ginene of Pensacola, FL, along with their spouses and his cherished grandchildren. His faithful dog, Jaymee, was a constant companion.

A passionate soccer player and coach, Frank played competitively well into his 50s and loved mentoring young athletes. He found joy in his Italian social club, where he enjoyed playing Scopa with friends. Above all, he was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose kindness and wisdom will be deeply missed.
