Returning from the service, he resumed his work in the family restaurant, Bertini's Restaurant on Canal Street in Salem. Frank also established and operated the Wine Cellar in Beverly and the Chase House on Pickering Wharf, two successful restaurants to which guests were welcomed by Frank's warmth and hard work.
Frank was constantly willing to help out where needed, even if it was quietly in the background of various community events. He was an Assistant Scoutmaster with Boy Scout Troop 155 at Saint Richard Church, his worship community where he was always ready to lend a hand. He was a member of the Polish Club in Danvers.
Frank enjoyed boating, waterskiing, snow skiing, dancing, and cooking. Above all, Frank was dedicated to his loving family.
