Peabody - Enrica (Tacchella) Albano, 101, of Reading, and formerly of Everett and Peabody, died Tuesday May 12, 2026, at the Residence at Pearl Street Assistant Living Facility following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Ercole Albano.
Born in Milano, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Carlo and Maria (Bollatti) Tacchella. She was raised in Italy and in 1955 she immigrated to the United States and became a United States Citizen in 1960.
She was a homemaker and was an independent seamstress for many years. She loved cooking for all occasions and enjoyed sharing all her family activities.
Enrica is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Silvio and Marie Albano of Middleton, and Carlo and Nadia Albano of Burlington, her beloved four grandchildren, Eric and his wife Kristin Albano of Peabody, Lisa and her husband Michael Fu of Andover, Marisa Makowskyj of Lindenhurst, IL, and Carina and her husband Joel Skaaland of Tewksbury, her five great-grandchildren, Ryan Fu of Del Ray, FL, Connor Fu of South Boston, Payton Makowskyj of Seattle, WA, Rylee Makowskyj of Lindenhurst, IL, and Will Skaaland of Tewksbury.
Visiting hours will be held on Monday, May 18, 2026, from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Conway, Cahill-Brodeur Funeral Home, 82 Lynn St., Peabody, Her Funeral Service will be followed at 11:30 a.m. at the Funeral Home.
