Lynn - Elizabeth A. "Betty" (Peabody) Gosselin passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, January 30, 2026, at the age of 88. Born in Salem, MA on June 5, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Priscilla (Dutcher) and Arthur Peabody and was a graduate of Lynn English High School.
She was married to her high school sweetheart, Bradley E. Gosselin, who passed away on February 19, 2025, after 67 years of marriage. As a young adult, she was an avid artist and conducted art classes for several years at home. Later she enjoyed walks and bird watching with her husband.
Elizabeth worked for Hotwatt in Danvers doing assembly work and then at the Danvers Library using her art skills to repair books and as an Assistant Librarian in the Children's room. She studied Early Childhood Education at Salem State College, graduating magna cum laude.
She joined her husband in becoming an Ordained Minister in the Spiritual Church and served and helped at several locations.
Elizabeth was known for her artistry, kindness, dedication, and unwavering spirit. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Elizabeth is survived by her sons, Bradley Gosselin, Jr. and his wife Darlene of Lynn and Barry Gosselin and his wife Joann of Camillus, NY; her grandchildren, Nichole Stafford, Lawrence Cripps, and James Karcz; her 7 great-grandchildren; her great-great-grandson; her brother, Arthur Peabody, Jr.; her nephew Alan Day and her nieces, Kimberley Day, Elizabeth Peabody, and Victoria Peabody. She was predeceased by her sister-in-law, Joyce Day.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, March 1, 2026 at the Solimine Funeral Home, 426 Broadway (Rt. 129), Lynn at 4 p.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Memorial Visitation will be on Sunday from 2 to 4 p.m., prior to the Memorial Service. Burial will be private.
