Dorothy was a graduate of St. John’s School in Peabody. She was predeceased by her husband of 52 years Bill who adored her. A devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Dot’s home was a place of beauty, fun, and laughter. Sunday night cookouts, evenings in the screen house, parades up and down the hill, she loved a good time! Dot and Bill had an amazing marriage with Cliff House getaways and family always at the center of life lived to the very fullest. They shared a strong faith. She had wonderful long-time friends including the Sine Nomine gang. Mom was kind, loyal, and generous to family, friends and neighbors. Grandma Dot was the Queen of Good Harbor Beach. She spent endless summers there with Bill, their children, grandchildren, and circle of friends. We will sorely miss that stunning young woman who stopped traffic in Peabody Square.

Her funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Anthony-by-the-Sea Chapel on Thursday, July 26, at 9:30 a.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. The burial will be held in Calvary Cemetery, Gloucester.

Visiting hours in the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington Street, Gloucester will be held on Wednesday, July 25, from 4 to 8 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675 or online at www.woundedwarriorproject.org (tel. 855-448-3997) Likely a testament to her extraordinary World War II generation, she was proud of helping the soldiers.
