Peabody - Doris A. Hanks, age 84, a lifelong resident of Massachusetts. She lived in Lynn, Salem and Peabody. She passed at Salem Hospital after an unexpected illness. Doris grew up in Lynn. She graduated from Classical High School and North Shore Community College. She worked at General Electric and USPS. She is survived by her loving children Paula Hanks of North Andover, Derek Hanks of Danvers, Rhonda (Hanks) Deas of Georgia, and Jennifer (Hanks) Edgecombe of Texas; her sisters Gloria (Breedy) Pitcher and Carol (Breedy) Jones of Lynn; and several generations of grand and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and countless loved ones.
Friends and family are invited to attend Doris's visitation on Thursday, November 10, 2022 from 11:30 A.M. to 1:00 P.M. at the Cuffe-McGinn Funeral Home, 157 Maple Street, Lynn.
