I only had the pleasure of meeting David once - at the wedding of his beautiful niece, Kristin, and our handsome son, Jeremy. A very happy and memorable day.

Although I didn't know David personally, I can tell by the photos and memories that David's love for his family and friends was huge. Please know that I'm remembering each of you - especially you, Lorrie and your precious dad; along with you, Paul and Nikki, and in particular you, Kristin, who spoke so highly of your uncle. My heart is with each of you.

Where do I start? My best stories start, Dave Stevens, and I. There was no one who compared to him, no truer friend, big hearted, infectious soul that EVERYONE wanted to be around. I have so many memories of our times together. Ward Four Saints Football, our trips up to Wells Beach in the Scirocco, late nights in Boston in the Renault LeCar driving on and around the Boston Commons....Him getting yelled at by his mother for wearing his jeans too tight! And when he moved to Danvers, the girls didn't know what to make of him, because he was such a handsome devil! He joined the Marine Corps, and then I joined to, but he didn't tell me that he was a reservist, and I went full time. I can still he...ar him laughing at me. He always had your back! He LOVED his family, and LOVED, LOVED, LOVED his son Jackson! He was ALWAYS talking about Jackson! A world without my friend, Dave in it, just got a lot smaller! I Love you Dave, and will miss you!!!!Read more

Dave was a beautiful mason. He had that artistic touch and went the extra mile for the best work.
Dave had the biggest heart and it was hard not to smile when he was around.
We have missed you, Dave.

Dave moved into my neighborhood when i was in elementary school. He was friends with my cousin. He saw i was the son of a single parent. He saw i was being Bullied in the neighborhood. He stepped up, He intervened. He questioned the bullies why were they harassing at the same time teaching me about self confidence and self defense. It was like an angel was sent to help.

I had the pleasure of meeting David in Elementary School. He was the idol of all elementary school boys and, the love of all the elementary school girls. We became best friends. He was like the Brother I never had. David was always full of life and,had energy no one could surpass. The years I spent with David were exciting, educational and truly meaningful. If you were David's friend, you knew that he would always have your back, through thick or thin, whether you were right or wrong. He was extremely caring and protective. Even though David moved to Danvers in High School, he made it a point to see his other friends once or twice a week. David was a enormous part of my life for a long time.... I will never forget the years we spent together. He was truly special person and, although he had a hard exterior to those who did not know him well, he had a very big heart and a soul that will shine forever. I'm so sorry for your loss. RIP, Dave.Read more
