Epping - David Michael Campana, 61, of Epping, NH, passed away on August 21, 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Salem, MA, on April 26, 1964, he is survived by his loving wife, Melissa McNeal of Newburyport; his daughters Samantha (31), Brianna (29), and Katelyn (27); his stepson Ryan Davis (37); He also leaves behind his mother, Janet Brown, and stepfather, Chester Brown of Beverly; his brother Richard Campana of Hamilton; his sister Lynn Torrey of Peabody; his stepbrothers, Bryant Scott Brown of Andover, Jeffrey Brown of France, and Gerard Brown of Deering. David also had two nephews and one niece. He was predeceased by his father, Richard Campana Sr. of FL.

David grew up in Salem and Beverly, attending local schools as well as Essex Agricultural School in Middleton. For many years, he and his family lived on Plum Island before relocating to Epping, New Hampshire, where he and Melissa created a beautiful home and garden. He shared a close bond with his youngest daughter, Kate, his brother Rich, and his nephew Rich III, with whom he spent cherished time at their hunting camp in Errol, NH

A devoted wildlife enthusiast, David enjoyed a long career operating a large crane at Cicoria Tree. He was a cherished friend to many in the North Shore community, who miss him deeply. David was also an avid music lover, especially fond of blues and a great admirer of Stevie Ray Vaughan. He will be profoundly missed by all who knew him.
