Christine A. Parsons Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Christine Parsons announces her passing after a brief illness, on Wednesday evening, August 2, 2017 at the age of 69.
Chrissy was born on May 4, 1948 and was the daughter of the late Ernest and Blanche (White) Parsons.
She was a lifelong resident of Rockport. She will be lovingly remembered by her partner and best friend, Tony Bicho, and her children, Kenneth Tucker Jr. and his wife, Patti, and Krista (Tucker) Penman and her husband, Colin. She is also survived by her three grandchildren, Katelyn, Carolyn and Matthew Tucker, as well as her sister, Ann Parsons McNiff, and her nieces and nephews, Jay McNiff, Laurie Twombly, Eric McNiff and Chrissie Twombly. She was predeceased by her brother, David Parsons in June 2017.
Chrissy was employed for 39 years as a caring, loving nurse, and loved her time at the beach with a cold drink and a good book. Aruba was her favorite place to travel to for 30 years. She was known as "Smiley" while growing up and she lived up to that name.
Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Chrissy's name to Kaplan Family Hospice House, 78 Liberty Street, Danvers, MA 01923.
Arrangements are by the Greely Funeral Home, 212 Washington Street, Gloucester. For online condolences, please visit www.greelyfuneralhome.com.
